Shopping @ the mall?

Need some time to shop at the mall before Christmas? How about a play date at the play area at the mall. Some mothers stay and watch the kids, while the others shop. Then switch off?? Lets decide on a date:) I love the mall, yet not with children:)

Thanks to Becca for talking to the bishop about using the church. And because of that, we are going to have a play date at the church tomorrow Tuesday 11-24-09. It will be in the nursery at 10:30 a.m. and if you would like you can bring a craft to do while your children are playing. Also, if you want to bring a snack to share, you can. Hope to see you there.

meet up

We are going to go to the open gym on Friday morning. If you would like we can meet at my house on 475 J Street a few minutes before 9:00 and carpool and/or follow over to the Recreation Center on 520 Memorial Drive. I haven't been before but have heard it's fun. Hope to see you all there.

Ideas for this winter

Here is some information I got off the city web site. I thought they would be good ideas for a play date. We can schedule something for next week if everyone would like but we might have to change the day we do if we decide to do one of these. I put the ice skating one just for an idea. PRE-SCHOOL OPEN GYM PLAY GROUP

When it's cold outside and the kids are bored, bring them to the play group at the Recreation Center on Tuesday and Friday mornings. It's only a dollar a kid and they can play in a big indoor space. We have mats on the floor with balls of all sizes, hula hoops, a slide, sit n spin, hippity hops, tunnels and more. The kids love it. They can go crazy! Parents can sit on the side lines or join their kids and play. It's a good activity for the kids during these cold winter months.

This program will run from October 13, 2009 through March 2010.

DAYS: Tuesdays and Fridays

TIME: 9:00am - 11:00am

AGE: 6 and Under

FEE: $1.00 + .06 = $1.06 tax per child/per day

The Ice Rink is located in Tautphaus Park on Rogers next to the Zoo. The rink is open November through March. Rentals are available.
